Barry Barnes and Associates, PLLC was recently restructured and renamed in December of 2015 as former partner Sylvester Turner was elected mayor of Houston, Texas and withdrew his partnership from the initial firm. Formerly known as Barnes & Turner, the initial company was formed on July 7, 1983 by partner Barry Barnes, partner Sylvester Turner and others. The firm was established for the purpose of practicing law primarily in the areas of corporate and commercial law and related litigation.  Additionally, the firm represented individuals in non-corporate/commercial matters in a variety of substantive legal fields.
